What a spectacular day we had at the New Zealand Kannada Koota (NZKK) picnic on March 15, 2025! The sun was shining, the laughter was echoing, and the spirit of community was truly vibrant at Ambury Park. We're thrilled to share the highlights of this memorable day with all of you.
A Record-Breaking Turnout!
We were absolutely delighted to see a phenomenal turnout, with over 176 registrations! It was heartwarming to see so many families and friends come together to celebrate our rich Kannada culture. The park was buzzing with energy, and it was a testament to the strong community spirit we share.
A Feast for the Senses!
No NZKK event is complete without a delightful spread of authentic Kannada delicacies, and this picnic was no exception! Our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare a mouthwatering array of dishes that tantalized our taste buds. Amazing signature styled Pulav, everyone enjoyed a true taste of home. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their culinary skills to make the day so special.
Games, Laughter, and Friendly Competition!
The picnic was a playground of fun and excitement, with a variety of games and activities for all ages. From traditional games like lagori to modern favorites, there was something for everyone. The competitive spirit was high, but the focus was always on fun and camaraderie. We saw some amazing displays of skill, teamwork, and laughter!
