Subject: NZ Kannada Koota Condemns the Pahalgam Attack – Mourning the Loss of Innocent Lives (including Kannadigas) and Standing in Solidarity

The New Zealand Kannada Koota (NZKK) expresses profound sorrow and strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack that occurred in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, India, on April 22, 2025. This brutal act claimed the lives of 26 innocent individuals, including three Kannadigas: Mr. Manjunath Rao, Mr. Madhusudhan Trilupala Somisetty, and Mr. Bharat Bhushan .

This targeted violence against peaceful tourists is a stark reminder of the persistent threats posed by religious extremism. Such acts are an affront to the values of humanity, peace, and religious harmony that we hold dear.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families of all the victims and stand in solidarity with those affected by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

As a community that cherishes cultural diversity and mutual respect, NZKK calls upon the international community to unite against terrorism and to uphold the principles of peace and justice.

ವಿಷಯ: ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಮ್ ದಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯೂಜಿಲೆಂಡ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ - ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅಮಾಯಕರ ಜೀವಗಳ ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಶೋಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ.

ನ್ಯೂಝಿಲೆಂಡ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ (NZKK) ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಂ, ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ, ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 22, 2025 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ದಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕ್ರೂರ ಕೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 26 ನಿರಪರಾಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು: ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ರಾವ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ತ್ರಿಲುಪಾಲ ಸೋಮಿಸೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಭಾರತ್ ಭೂಷಣ್ .

ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಡೆದ ಈ ದ್ವೇಷಪೂರಿತ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಅಪರಾಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.

ಈ ದುಃಖದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಲಿಯಾದವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಳವಾದ ಸಂತಾಪವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ದುರಂತದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿತರಾದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏಕತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.

ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವಾಗಿ, NZKK ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಏಕತೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯದ ತತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಕರೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
